Q:

What inspired you to look into video interviewing? What specific challenges in your day-to-day were you looking to solve with video interviewing?

A:

The time saved and the efficiencies gained inspired us to implement Spark Hire into our recruitment processes. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain insightful first impressions of candidates (how they communicate, how they behave, etc.) while at the same time saving a lot of time (instead of having a first interview that lasts e.g. 60 minutes).

A:

It is the first time we are using a tool like Spark Hire.

What was your team’s hiring process prior to using Spark Hire?

A:

We used to have standard preliminary interviews. We’d start with short phone calls or go directly to the first interview stage (around 60 min.). Basically, we’ve replaced our first round of interviews with Spark Hire’s one-way video interviews. This has saved us a tremendous amount of time without affecting our ability to screen and review candidates effectively.

How do you get your team members to buy into video interviewing?

A:

The team was on board as soon as they learned of the time efficiency. Putting time back in a team member’s schedule made the platform an easy sell across the company.
