How much does it cost?
This depends on the plan that you select, but when you upgrade from Meet to Recruit, everything from your Meet plan is included. So, you’re not buying a completely separate solution like you would by adding another applicant tracking system. To learn more about which Recruit plan is best for you, click here.
What does onboarding and implementation look like?
The onboarding process for Spark Hire Recruit includes a kickoff meeting, several training sessions for the recruiting team, training for your hiring managers, and a Q&A consultation. Many customers complete this within 30 days, but we generally recommend considering your entire onboarding period to be about 60 days.
What if I need to migrate from another applicant tracking system?
Depending on your current ATS, Spark Hire Recruit offers data migration services to ensure that you don’t lose any important data and maintain hiring continuity as you switch platforms. Learn more about migrating to Spark Hire here.
We’ve never used an ATS before. Where do we even start?
Many customers who sign up for Spark Hire Recruit are implementing their organization’s first applicant tracking system. Our onboarding team takes this into consideration, ensuring you and your team are set up for success.
If you’d like to learn more about what this experience may be like, we recommend reviewing this previous podcast episode between a Spark Hire customer and Spark Hire CEO, Josh Tolan, as they delve into how to implement your first applicant tracking system.
I’m worried about getting my hiring managers to use another solution. How do you help?
Spark Hire Recruit is known for being the collaborative ATS that hiring managers love working in. Our task-based system and customizable workflows ensure your hiring managers know exactly what they need to do and when they need to do it, so they can “get in and out” quickly.
In addition, part of our Spark Hire Recruit onboarding includes training specifically for hiring managers.

We’re swamped. Is this the right time to implement an ATS?
The reality is that there’s never going to be a perfect time to implement new HR tech or switch your existing platforms. If you’re not busy with one thing, it’s another!
That said, we empathize with the fact that those in talent acquisition have a lot going on, and it rarely slows down. Our team will walk you through what implementation looks like, allowing you to build a migration and onboarding timeline that makes sense for your organization.
Our current system (even spreadsheets) works well enough. Why switch?
Spreadsheets work – until they don’t. As hiring picks up, manual tools become time-consuming, error-prone, and impossible to scale.
A flexible and collaborative applicant tracking system (ATS) helps you centralize candidate data, automate tasks like interview scheduling and team communication, and keep your team aligned every step of the way.
Additionally, it improves hiring efficiency, reduces missed candidates or candidate drop-off due to hiring delays, and provides transparency into your hiring process.
If you’re juggling resumes, emails, and feedback across tools, an ATS isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a smarter, faster way to get the right people in the right seats.

Will Recruit integrate with our existing tools?
Spark Hire Recruit has hundreds of integrations and partnerships with job boards, sourcing tools, assessment solutions, background check providers, HRIS platforms, and more.

Aren’t ATS platforms only for big companies?
While we’ve certainly helped larger organizations adopt our applicant tracking system, the majority of our customer base consists of small and medium-sized employers with 50-500 employees.
We can’t afford to slow down right now. Won’t this interrupt our hiring?
We will develop an onboarding plan to prioritize the roles you currently have open, allowing you to not only continue hiring for those roles but also start reaping the benefits of Spark Hire Recruit as soon as possible, without disrupting your hiring process.
We’re locked into a contract with another vendor. Is there anything we can do?
Get in touch so we can work creatively for a smooth transition from your previous vendor to Spark Hire Recruit. We’re flexible and can ensure that there’s some overlap between the two contracts.
Who else is using Recruit?
Hundreds of customers are using Spark Hire Recruit as their applicant tracking system right now.
“One of the things that drew me the most to Spark Hire’s ATS was their advanced level of automation and their integration with AI into the process. Those things are very important because I am a one-man department when it comes to recruiting, and it gives me a higher level of efficiency compared to some of their competitors.”

Will switching to Recruit change how we use Meet?
Slightly, but in the best way!
Using Spark Hire Recruit will make your existing Spark Hire Meet workflows even more more seamless as you’ll now be able to add Meet assessments to specific steps within your hiring process, assign tasks to specific individuals to review the completed assessments, automate certain actions, and maintain a single source of truth for all hiring activity – amongst many other benefits.
