What inspired you to look into video interviewing?
We sought out a video interviewing solution to help us increase efficiency and find top talent. We also wanted to find a way to be ahead of our competition.
What are the immediate benefits you've seen from using Spark Hire?
Spark Hire helps us get a much fuller picture on a candidate. We get hands on evidence that the candidate is tech savvy, can follow instructions, presents themselves professionally, and communicates effectively.
What was your team’s recruiting process prior to using Spark Hire?
Before using video interviews, we did phone interviews combined with a personality assessment.
How does video interviewing fit into your recruiting process?
Now, we use video interviews which enable us to ask the same questions to all of our candidates. This is huge from a consistency standpoint and also helps us better evaluate them.
We can replay, review, share, and compare candidate responses to make sure we are only moving forward with the candidates that are the best fits.
How do you get your team members to buy in to video interviewing?
Our company was really excited about this. We have multiple locations throughout Illinois and Indiana so Spark Hire allowed the recruiting to be done via the corporate office.
What was your aha moment -- the moment you knew you loved Spark Hire?
