The Spa Elite team wanted to streamline their candidate to client submission process, and allow consultants to review candidates quicker. They hoped their candidates would come alive more than their old process of passing along interview notes and CVs of qualified candidates.

Q:

What inspired you to look into video interviewing? Were there specific challenges in your day to day were you looking to solve with video interviewing?

A:

We wanted a platform that could enable us to offer a quicker requisition turnaround. We also hoped to provide more streamlined service to both candidates and clients. Ideally, we wanted something to help our clients buy in to candidates and gain a deeper understanding of who they are looking at as a person. We wanted an upgrade from just a CV when making decisions on shortlisting candidates for interviews.

Did Spark Hire replace a similar tool or is this the first time your team is using video interviewing?

A:

This is the first platform we have used.

What criteria did you have in mind for a video interviewing solution?

A:

Simplicity for both candidates and clients was essential for us, as well as a professional and visually appealing interface. We were also looking for a platform where clients and candidates could dial in from any type of device (computer, phone, tablet etc). Working worldwide across many different time zones, it was also important that our candidates and clients would have 24/7 support.
